Stone Repairs
Where possible, we prioritise the preservation of existing stone. Thanks to the advanced repair products on the market from suppliers such as Masons Mortars, surface repair has become an effective & cost friendly alternative to a full replacement. Using the correct base compounds and a choice of finishing strengths, we can restore damaged areas of stone so they match the colour, texture and strength of the surrounding fabric.
These modern repair materials allow us to repair everything from minor surface deterioration to deeper structural defects, all whilst avoiding unnecessary replacement.
Stone Replacements
In the past our expert team has recommended a full replacement of broken stone for our customers. Today, a replacement is still the most suitable long-term option. We offer a full range of natural stone matching, including sandstone, limestone and granite. For certain projects we can also recommend modern alternatives such as engineered quartzite or textured concrete/render systems. These materials replicate the appearance of traditional stone while offering benefits like reduced water absorption, increased durability and easier installation.
Whether natural or engineered, all replacements are selected to complement your property and deliver lasting performance.
Step Repairs & Replacements
Steps are exposed to the elements and can deteriorate over time, becoming unstable or unsafe. We repair or replace worn treads, cracked risers and damaged edges using the same specialist materials and finishing techniques used in our stone restoration work. Where a full replacement is required, we ensure the new steps integrate seamlessly with the surrounding structure.
